JOAN ADELE KRUT
April 5, 1954 - August 28, 2019
She is survived by her sister Debbie (Lorne); her sister-in-law Valerie; nephew Chad (Kendall); nieces, Crystal (Glenn), Bridget (Jarrod) and Sharisse; great-nieces, Trinity, Carys, Cali, and Maddison; great-nephews, Ethan, Davis, and Dexter; her beloved cat Lexi and her many friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Catherine Krut; brother Darrel; and life partner Gerry.
Joannie was born and raised in Selkirk, Manitoba. She worked for the Manitoba Public Trustee and was a dedicated employee for over 35 years.
Joannie enjoyed cooking for family get-togethers and spent many hours out in her yard and garden. She always welcomed friends and family in her home and enjoyed having a good time. We will miss her sense of humour and her ability to always make everyone around her laugh.
She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
Gone but never forgotten,
always in our hearts,
we love you Joannie.
The family would like to thank CancerCare Manitoba, Dr. Lindenschmidt and the staff at Selkirk Regional Health Centre.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held at a later date.
Flowers gratefully declined, in lieu donations may be made in Joan's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
