GEORGE LEE
August 7, 1937 – August 27, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George, beloved husband, father and grandfather. He peacefully passed away with his loved ones by his side. We will miss him so much.
George is lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Norma; his daughter, Brenda (Derek Ward); and his grandchildren, Emma and Matthew. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Edna Kalke (Walter), Marge Watson (Joe); brother-in-law Don Theobald (Marian); sister-in-law Pat Lee; and his nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Katie Lee; and his brothers, Richard and Harvey.
George was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He worked at CN Rail for 37 years and was able to retire at age 55. George was a true family man. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with them, especially cheering them on at their events.
In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare Manitoba would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul.
