AUGUST JOSEPH GREGOR
November 13, 1938 - August 24, 2019

Early in the morning of Saturday, August 24, Joe Gregor slipped away to join his father August, his mother Libby and older sister Beth Mellum.
Joe will be remembered by his caring partner Marlene Gabryluk of Kenora, ON, his eldest sister Vera Klan of Kelowna, BC, his son Curtis (Cathy), his daughter Jaclyn Christi (Dalan), and his grandchildren, Caitlind, Bella and Ocean, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Over the years Joe worked as an Engineer for CN Rail and then as an Independent Courier with Gregory Cartwright Office Supplies and Prolific Graphics, and in his later years at Sobey's. Joe's favourite pastimes were barbequing, curling at St. Boniface Curling Club and golfing. He particularly loved being the first group out on the course after sunrise with only the beautiful greens before him.
I know Joe was very appreciative and grateful for the care from the paramedics and Palliative Care team in Kenora over the last few months of his journey with lung cancer. Thank you one and all.
Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Joe's wishes there will be no formal service.
For those left behind may the sun bring you energy every day, bringing light into the darkness of your soul. May the moon softly restore you by light bathing you in the glow of restful sleep and peaceful dreams. May the rain wash away your worries, and cleanse the hurt that sits in your heart. May the breeze blow new strength into your being and may you believe in the courage of yourself.
May you walk gently through the world, keeping your loved one with you always, knowing that you are never parted in the beating of your heart.
