Richard's life accomplishments were being an owner of many businesses' such as Rent a Boggin, Interlake Sports, and more recently Gimli Small Engines and Aspen Business

He loved racing snowmobiles, which took him from Winnipeg to St. Paul, Minnesota and Winnipeg to Yellowknife. Richard's loves were his children and grandchildren in which he took incredible joy spending time with.
His visits to adult programs with Gwen and friends brought him much joy. His woodworking projects with Rod were very special to him.
He loved to joke around, often sneaking up behind people, grabbing their legs and

He always lived by his own set of rules. Ride on Pa! Ride on!
There is hardly enough words to express the exceptional care given to Richard by all the staff at Gimli Hospital.

My Dad purchased our first sled from Richard in 1963, he did a great job of building that business from a small one car garage in his Dads backyard, that was heated by a homemade wood stove, to a successful business until he retired. I often reminisce over the times I spent with he and Wayne Isfeld standing around that stove talking over Richards ideas of Snomo club and “RACE CIRCUIT” formulations when he first started. Thanks for the great memories, I’m confident you’ll be riding the great trails and competing on the circuit in The hereafter. My heartfelt condolences to Janet and all Richard’s Family Laurie Russin - Posted by: Laurence (Laurie) Russin (Old friend & Customer) on: Sep 08, 2019

Richard was a truly remarkable guy, he was as tough as nails but a true pal when you needed help. We had many remarkable adventures together, the greatest of course our snomo trip Winnipeg to Yellowknife. We both finished the great 500 Winnipeg to St. Paul race. Richard was a very good operator of any and all ventures he was interested in. My deepest regards to all the family, may you all have many long lasting, happy memories.
