ROBERT PHILIPPOT
Robert will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his children, Ron (Yvette), André (Kari), Irène (Paul) and Nicole (Guy); his grandchildren, Patrick (Savannah), Mélanie (Lindsay), Janelle, Danielle (Cam), Natasha (Mark), Joël, Colin and Gabriel; and great-grandchildren, Pierce, Angelique and Milla. He will also be missed by his sisters, Madeleine (Charles), Roseline (Charlie), Sidonie; his brothers, Guy (Georgette) and Charles (Peggy); and sister-in-law Anne-Marie. He was predeceased by his wife Annette; granddaughter Valérie; and grandson Éric; his parents, Anne-Marie and Jean-Marie; his brothers, Jean-Marcel, Louis, Roland; and sisters, Suzanne and Thérèse.
Dad was a witty man and enjoyed making people laugh by telling jokes and stories. He loved to socialize and dance. He was a skillful man who could build or fix anything and was always ready to lend a helping hand any way he could. He brought joy to many over the years playing his fiddle on the radio, social events, competitions, and at gatherings with family and friends. Most of all, Dad loved spending time with his family.
The family would like to thank the staff on the 5th floor of Seven Oaks Hospital, in particular Dr. Bilenki. Un grand merci à Carmen, Sr. Fernande, Drissia et Suzanne de la Villa Aulneau, pour leur gentillesse et amitié envers notre papa.
Dad, we will miss you so much, we love you. You are free now.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch or Development and Peace.
