Left to mourn are her husband of 45 years, Harvey Wood, along with her siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Reta's loved ones also included many friends and colleagues she had met throughout the years. She worked tirelessly, until her retirement, and was naturally gifted with an ability to work with numbers. She forged relationships easily, and was creative and generous. Those of us who knew her enjoyed both her quirky side as well as her countless wonderful qualities.
She leaves behind treasured memories of her love, devotion and advice.
A service to commemorate her life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
Donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society in Reta's honour are graciously accepted in place of gifts or flowers.
