FREDDIE CHARLES DESMARAIS
June 16, 1961 - September 1, 2019
He is survived by his eight children, Charlene, Freddie Jr., Frances, Melissa, Samantha, Vanessa (Melvin), Sheryll and Nathaniel, 27 grandchildren, and his siblings, Mary, Baptist (Janice), Irene, Diane and Florence, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Freddie was predeceased by his mother Lena, father Edward, brothers, Herman and Wilfred, and his daughters, Crystal and beautiful Angel baby girl.
Wake service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Eternal Grace Funerals, 1111 Logan Ave. at McPhillips Street. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Temple (Buntain Chapel) 440 Hargrave St. viewing 10:30 a.m. till time of service. Interment Brookside Cemetery.

I got to know Freddie at Elk island lodge in June 2018. Freddie was my fishing guide. I also had the opportunity to have breakfast with him August 8 of this year. I got to love Freddie as a friend and brother in Christ. He was a wonderful man. My deepest condolences to the family even though I don't know any of you. May God bless you as you remember all the good times you shared with your father. You can be sure he is with his lord and savior. I'm grateful that I got to know him.
