February 12, 1923 - September 13, 2019
She will be loving remembered by her husband Steve and their children, Cathie; Steven and daughter-in-law Darlene; grandchildren, Alicia (Ian), Kevin (Brandy) and Kyle (Leah) and great-grandchildren, Oakley, Arthur, Eric, Johnathon and Lucy.
Helen was an amazing, loving, strong, funny and very determined women who lived a full life and it is so sad to see her go. She loved her family, church, bingo, gardening, the cottage, chocolate, the casino, nail polish, jokes, golfing and of course, her daily black russian.
We invite friends and family to attend a celebration of Helen's life with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy.
The family would like to extend huge gratitude to the entire team at Extendicare Red River Place, they are exceptional, you brought comfort to Mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
