MIKE CHARKIEWICH
July 24, 1926 - September 22, 2019

Mike Charkiewich passed away, with family by his side, on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at the age of 93, at Beausejour Hospital.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Victoria, siblings, John, Victor, Sonia and Adeline, first wife Olga, son Craig, and Mike's beloved cat Princess.
Mike will be lovingly remembered by his son Cameron (Suzanne), their children, Victoria and Ryan; daughter-in-law Valerie, granddaughter Cynthia and her two children; cat Leo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike was born and raised in Pine Ridge, MB. He started his working life in bush camps, building construction and ended his working career with the Province of Manitoba for 24 years at Birds Hill Park as Park Supervisor. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing golf and crib with his friends and neighbours. He loved nature and writing poems.
We would like to thank neighbour Ruth for her care and compassion given to Dad over the years. A special thank you to the staff at Beausejour Hospital for their care and compassion over the last few months.
As per Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
