Tanta Loka will always be remembered by my family as someone that never missed a family gathering. Whatever celebration we had she always made sure she made the effort to attend and support us. Whenever we visited we enjoyed hearing from her. Even in her difficult times, she had a sense of optimism that was contagious. My condolences to the family who she loved very much. - Posted by: Gordon Seier (Nephew ) on: Oct 04, 2019

We send you our deepest sympathy. Loka was known to us in our Cobourg Ave. Wpg. neighbourhood as “Tante Loka”. She was our “aunt” whether we were related to her as family or simply her neighbour. She is loved and remembered as the wonderful neighbour who welcomed us on to her veranda for coffee and treats. She had her own “neighbourhood watch” for our children and they always knew she would be there for them. And now as adults they often comment on their shared memories of the activities, relationships, and sense of family they experienced on Cobourg Ave. Loka was the elder aunt in that one of a kind family. We all loved Loka and her sister Herta, “Tante Herta” to us, who passed away just a few months ago. Now these dear sisters are united with each other, perhaps enjoying an even greater sense of neighbourhood and family than they ever did here. May you feel the love and comfort of our shared Cobourg family at this very sad time. We are saddened to hear of your loss. So many good times my mom shared with Tante Loka at Camp Neustadt. I have so many good memories of those times sitting by the fire with all the Bauer family. She was such a kind person that always made you feel welcome. Condolences to her entire family Gabby Stachowski and Herta Seidemann - Posted by: Gabrielle Stachowski (Friend) on: Sep 30, 2019

Our deepest sympathy to the family. She was very special to our family. Loka was the best roommate our mom Linda could ever have. We all shared many stories & laughs together. She will be in our hearts forever. Love Walter, Chris, Karen & Greg. - Posted by: Greg & Karen Blanco (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2019
