CAROLE ANNE LAZAR
(nee MAGER)
Predeceased by her husband John of 62 years.
Carole will be remembered and forever loved by her daughter Barb, son Stan (Sandy), and granddaughters, Sarah and Chelsea.
Carole, lovingly known as "Grandy" was a ray of light in our lives. We will miss her contagious laugh and the way she would light up a room. Carole will be remembered as an independent, spunky and fearless woman who loved and cared deeply for all.
Carole was born in Winnipeg in 1935. She tirelessly cared for her husband, children and grandchildren. As her children grew, she worked outside the home and enjoyed many friendships with her co-workers. Carole was actively involved in her community, volunteering in many activities including the Pan Am Games and the World Curling Championships held in Winnipeg.
Carole's interests included bowling, curling in a number of leagues, and going to movies. Carole enjoyed spending time at the family cottage. Carole was an original "Grindstone Gal" and an avid dog lover. Carole's pride and joy was being involved in the lives of her granddaughters, Sarah and Chelsea.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Carole's memory to a charity close to your heart.
In keeping with Carole's wishes, a celebration of her life and interment has taken place.
