EDITH JOAN ANDERSON
May 7, 1956 - September 25, 2019
announces the passing of Edith on
Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at Deer Lodge Centre after a lengthy illness.
Edie is survived by her loving husband Don; brother Jim (Arlene) and niece Karen; sister Janet (Louis) and sister Madelyn (Ken).
She was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Edith and niece Sara.
Edie was born and grew up in Selkirk,
Manitoba and later moved to Winnipeg where she lived until her passing.
The family would like to thank those who cared for Edie, the home care workers and for the last few years, the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for their kind and compassionate care. Special thanks to Don, Edie's soulmate, who was always by her side through all of her health challenges. His love, care and
companionship brought her great joy, in her words, "Don is my guardian angel."
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment.
If desired, donations in memory of Edie may be made to the MS Society, CancerCare Manitoba or Deer Lodge Centre Foundation.
You are now free from pain and limitations, rest in peace Edie.

It was both my privilege and my pleasure to know Edie. I am glad to have been part of her journey and will miss her. Deepest condolences to all family. Be assured of my ongoing thoughts and prayers.
