JOHN (JACK) WILLIAM RODY
John will be greatly missed and forever remembered by those who knew him. John was a loving father to his daughters, Shani (Doug) and Lisa (Jason), he was also a proud grandfather to John, Chelsea, Garrett (Amanda), Nathan (Nora) and Rylee, and a proud great-grandfather to Danica, Jaxstyn and Drayden. John leaves to mourn his sisters, Verla and Kathleen (Eugene), sister-in-law Mary, and brothers-in-law, Allan, Ed and Fred, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his daughter Leanne, his parents, William and Ruby, his brothers, Fred, Lawrence, Kenneth and Gary, and by his sisters, Gertrude, Ellen, Wilene, Hattie and Eva.
The family wishes to express our thanks to Dr. Lim and the wonderful nurses and staff at the Nokomis Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion during John's residency.
A celebration of John's life and interment will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Nokomis Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 290, P.O. Box 460, Nokomis, SK S0G 3R0.
