He is survived by his daughter Carol, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Mildred, of 65 years, and son John.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Christ Church in Selkirk, Manitoba with interment and reception to follow.
