I was saddened to read of Walter's passing (We were out of the country at the time). My sincere condolences on your loss. I pray that memories of happier times will see you through your time of grief! "God gave us memory so we might enjoy roses in winter." I am a respected researcher of Mennonite genealogy, and would like to connect Walter to his family and ancestry, which I am unable to do given the information in his obituary. My on-line project contains over 500,000 individuals, including more than 7,000 Reimers, but no identifiable link to Walter or his ancestry/family. Please contact me at an appropriate time if you are willing to share/exchange details. Thank you. All information about living individuals is suppressed to protect your/their privacy. (P.S. Barb would love to hear from you when you feel up to it.) - Posted by: Bob Strong (Friend) on: Oct 19, 2019

Barb and family So sorry to hear of Walter's passing I go back a long way 1950's - 1960's when we went to school in Altona. I also remember when he worked at the theatre in the projector room. We met again in 1985 at our 25 year school reunion. May Gods blessing be with you and your family Lawrence Toews - Posted by: Lawrence Toews (Former school mate) on: Oct 12, 2019

Hi Barbara, sorry to hear about the passing of Walter. I remember you and Walter when Bob and I lived on Raquette Street in 1976 until 1977. Michael and Jennifer were very young, 2 and 3 years when we met. - Posted by: Anne Schenkel (Old friend ) on: Oct 12, 2019
