SUSAN LINDA BEITZ
(nee WARD)
Linda is survived by her husband Brian, sons, Jason (Lisa) and Andrew (Ryan),
brothers, John (Emma) and Ian (Linda), granddaughter Sarah (Flecher), and great-grandson Kyus, a.k.a. her "Special Little Man".
Linda was predeceased by her parents, John and Dorothy, her brother Blake and
sister Merle Ann.
Linda grew up in Elmwood and graduated from Tec Voc High School in 1965. She and Brian were married a year later and when their two boys came along, Linda left the
traditional workforce and became full-time wife and mother, the job title she cherished most. Throughout her life, Linda enjoyed close relationships with many people who came to regard her as a best friend, or
surrogate sister or mom. Her capacities to love and her ability to endure were endless and will serve as an inspiration to those who knew her.
The family would like to thank Dr. Patricia Harris and the Oncology unit at Concordia Hospital who guided Linda through each one of her battles with cancer, and the entire team at the Riverview Health Centre for the guidance they gave and compassion they showed.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation and a private interment have taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in
Linda's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

My belated condolences Brian on the passing of Linda. I remember when Linda started working at old 558 and bagging groceries for her Friday evenings. The younger staff parties she hosted at her place introduced me to several of her school friends who worked at Crossroads Safeway. These friends continued their careers with Safeway and our paths inter-changed many times over the next 40 years. I have fond memories of the good times we shared at work. Rest in Peace, God Bless - Posted by: Colin Dederick (Fellow worker from the younger days. ) on: Jan 23, 2021
