BETTY HALL
(nee ELLIOTT)
Betty leaves behind her sons, Dean Hawranik (Brooke Daniel), Clayton Hawranik (Rupali); and her daughter Sonia Dauphinais (Bill); her grandchildren, Brandon, Jonathan, Madison, Logan, Audrey and Grace; her sisters, Joey McDonagh (Rick), Jacquie Ohlman (Glenn); and brother Murray Elliott (Angie); many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Betty was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary June and Wilfred; brothers, Neil, John; and sister Bonny.
Cecelia Beatrice (Betty) was born on December 19, 1948. She lived in Winnipeg for most of her life, specifically in St. James where she raised her family. Betty worked in the accounting department at Western Glove and with Palliser Furniture but for the larger part of her life, she was a caregiver to her children. She taught them to have integrity, be truthful and to love passionately. Her last move was to Southern California to be closer to her sons and their families.
Betty was young at heart and had a vibrant energy. She was always the life of the party and could always make people laugh. She was an excellent cook; her pies, cabbage rolls and perogies were the favourite at every special occasion.
Her love, kind heart and smile will be missed but not forgotten.
Celebration of Life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on October 17, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of one's choice.

Thank you Aunty Betty for plucking my eyebrows when I was a teenager and I never had to pluck them again 💞You were so easy to talk to and laugh with. I will always remember the family get togethers and the laughter of that special laugh you had! Always in my heart forever.
