ELIZABETH EVANGELINE MECKLING COSGROVE
(nee MECKLING)

Elizabeth departed this world on October 7, 2019 at Oakview Place, after a respiratory failure. She was a resident for six years prior to her passing.
Betty was born on April 3, 1935 and is survived by her only son Marcus. Betty was predeceased by her husband Douglas "Chris"; her father and mother; and most of her immediate family.
Betty was a former seamstress, RN, an Eaton's employee, later temporarily an honorary officer of the law. Betty was an important person, as both a Cosgrove and a Meckling was a member of the Windsor family and her husband was also an important Cosgrove and Hansen.
Funeral service will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
In lieu of flowers, please offer an honorarium to a religious institution of your choosing.
