At that time, she was working as a cashier at Jenkinson's Meat Market in Selkirk which was her first job out of school. Their first dance turned into a life time of love. Mom and Dad married on July 10, 1954 and raised their three children. Muriel was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was very proud of her family. Muriel worked for Systems Business Forms for 30 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed time with her family and friends both at home and at the cottage in Petersfield. She enjoyed family dinners and especially during the holiday seasons. Mom and Dad would cook up some great meals. She was very active in her children's and grandchildren's activities and sports. She was Chris' No. 1 hockey fan and gained the nickname of Grandma Kizzy. She enjoyed watching hockey, football, curling and baseball on TV. Muriel touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will be forever loved and sadly missed.
