Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Condolences to you Wendy & your families. I'm so sorry to hear about John. Peace be with him. Thinking of you. - Posted by: Marilyn Lane (Friend of Wendy) on: Oct 24, 2019

  • John was a valuable member of the Winnipeg branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society for a number of years. An accomplished dancer, he was both strong and graceful on the dance floor, and was an attentive and charming partner. He participated in demonstrations and attended regular weekly classes, braving Manitoba's winter weather on the drive between Selkirk and Winnipeg, with tenacity and good humour. Since he retired from the dancing scene many of us have missed his warm, kind and gentle ways. I consider it a privilege to have had the pleasure to know John as a friend and fellow dance teacher and to have shared with him our passion for the dance. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Robin Dempsey Lynch (Friend) on: Oct 22, 2019
