EVA JEAN KEHLER
(nee LETKEMAN)
Eva was born to Margaret and John Letkeman and was one of nine siblings. Eva was predeceased by her husband Ernie, both her parents, siblings, Esther, Alice, Johnny and Ronnie, and her great-grandson Callum.
Eva was a devoted wife to her husband Ernie, and they shared four beautiful children, Ted, Brenda (Cully), Darryl (Hollie) and Pamela; who blessed them with 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Eva's family was her pride and joy and the love for them was always evident; in fact she spent most of her years at home raising her family and caring for her children and grandchildren.
She loved to tell jokes, spoke her mind, and had a whit like nobody else. Over the years and into her retirement, Eva enjoyed knitting, baking, playing bingo, and spending time with family and friends, and although these things all brought her joy, not a day went by when she didn't share how much she loved and missed her husband Ernie.
Eva was the glue that held her family together, and she will be missed dearly.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Deer Lodge Centre for their special care over the past two years.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 28, Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg. Viewing at 1:30 p.m., memorial service at 2:00 p.m., light lunch to follow.

My condolences to her family. I have known Eva for many years as we worked together at Century 21 garments on Berry Street. She would always give me a call even after the plant closed down. Her jokes and stories were wonderful. The last time she called to say hi she said I don't want to lose your friendship. She will be dearly missed by myself. RIP my friend.
