ANDREW SYLVESTRE RATTIE
He leaves behind his mother Nicole (Chris); his father Shane; his siblings, Alex (Ashley), William, James, Julia and Conner. He also leaves to cherish his memory his soulmate Megan Melo, her parents, Helen and Victor, and her siblings, Kristian (Ashley) and Julia; grandmother Maria, and grandmother Elizabeth Isaak. Andrew will also be missed by his grandparents, Dawna and Gilles, great-grandparents, Bill and Shirley McEwen, and his grandparents, Charles and Shirley Rattie, and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Andrew had an enthusiastic love of life, football and family, but the greatest love of his life was Megan, who he was in the process of starting a life with. They had just purchased a home and were about to move in December 10. He had a special place in his heart for his younger siblings, and they always looked up to him.
Andrew will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road. Viewing will take place one hour before the service.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the compassionate attentiveness of everyone involved.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrew's memory may be made to Siloam Mission, a cause dear to his heart.

I didn't know Andrew too well but I worked on the same team as him for 2 years before his passing. And all I can say is he was one of the kindest people I met at that plant and I looked up to him dearly. I loved how much he had figured out at such a young age. He had a good head on his shoulders and it's just such a shame. Condolences to all the family and friends, rip Andrew. - Posted by: Austin whincup (Co worker) on: Jul 11, 2022

There are a great many pieces in many, many people's homes that Andrew so meticulously created. Whenever I went to the Pinnacle team I always stopped by his "bench" to see what he was working on. His expression was always a mix of hard-work and pride in the pieces he made. My condolences to Andrew's entire family. As a mother and grandmother my heart is full of sadness. My prayers are with you in your grief. - Posted by: Carolyne Campbell (Co-worker) on: Oct 28, 2019
