I remember a lot about Phyllis as I am the next closest sister to her. We are 4 years apart. I recall that she liked to bake when she was very young. She baked an apple pie and must have forgotten to put in one or more ingredients. Well this pie shell could have been used to resole shoes. Our Dad was so good about this and ate the pie with such appreciation and kept smacking his lips and going on and on about how "this is the best pie I ever tasted." Phyllis just took in all the praise and I do believe that she continued to love to bake and cook long into her life. She loved her family, flowers, keeping a neat home, talking on the phone to her Mom, and visiting at the farm. She was a unique, beautiful, caring sister. - Posted by: VIOLET ANDRUSIEK (Sister) on: Oct 26, 2019
