ELIZABETH MINGARACAL
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Nicanor, daughter Eleanor, father Andres Seguancia, mother Esperanza Seguancia, and brothers, Laureto and Eduardo Seguancia.
Left to forever cherish her memory are her son Alan (Anna), daughters, Lisa (Kim) and Raquel, her grandchildren, Nicholas, Dylan, Joshua, Alexis, Avery, Kathlyn, JR and TJ, and her great-grandson, Jaden. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her sister Tita Tabadero, all of her nieces and nephews in the Philippines and in the U.S.
Elizabeth was born in Baguinay, Pangasinan, Philippines on April 29, 1948. She left the Philippines for England in 1971 and became a nanny during her time there. In 1974, she arrived to Canada and, with her husband joining her in 1976, started a family. She worked for St. Joseph's Residence as a nurse's aide for the majority of her career where she had many friendships. During the early years in Winnipeg, she loved watching All My Children, spending time with our Baguinay families, the families from Dad's golfing days at PAGAM/PAGASA, ballroom dancing with Dad and of course, gardening.
After mourning Dad's passing, Mom found a love for Zumba classes, taking long walks with our dog, Neeka, and with her Baguinay clan, singing with the St. Peter's Church choir, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching The Ellen Show. It has always been her dream to go to California and be part of the Ellen audience.
We would like to thank all of our family members and her friends for visiting during her time at Maples Long Term Care. Whenever she saw you and cried, that meant she remembered you; and for that, we are grateful. Thank you so very much to the staff at Maples Long Term Care Home. You have treated her and our family with dignity and respect, and went the extra mile to make sure she was well fed and comfortable. No words can express how grateful we are to have you assist her. Thank you to all who extended their condolences, attended the prayers and provided food and drinks.
Lamay will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home. Funeral will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery.

Manang Beth, you are a very good and nice sister in law to us. We appreciate you. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be missed. We cherish all the fond memories we shared during your several visits here in California, the long distance telephone conversations we had that lasted for hours, talking about how our families are doing, You are the glue that connects our family. We love you. May you Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Jovita Mingaracal Constantino (Sister in law) on: Oct 30, 2019
