ELEANOR FEHER
Mom was born in Hamiota, MB on December 7, 1932 to Gladys and Gordon Allan.
She was predeceased by her husband George, daughter Cindy, mother, father, sisters Audrey and Margaret.
Mom is survived by her son Chris (Linda and family); daughters, Bonnie (Karl), Cathy and Sandra; grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam), Kyle (Rhia); great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Devon, Emmett; and her adoring cat "Isadora". Also survived by sisters, Shirley, Irene, Gloria (Ed); brother Gordie (Anita); and many nieces and nephews.
Mom graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1954 at St. Boniface Hospital. This is where she met our dad and, soon after, they married and enjoyed successful careers and five children. After 34 years, Mom retired as the Staff Health Nurse and Epidemiologist at the Grace Hospital. During her nursing career Mom was highly respected, admired for her work ethic and loved by all.
Following her retirement, Dad and Mom enjoyed extensive travelling, sports, family and friends. Mom loved her retirement home at Sturgeon Creek 2 where she made many friends and appreciated the staff very much. Her love and enthusiasm for all her family will be missed every day and especially two or three daily phone calls with her bestie, Aunt Irene. Mom, you leave a lifetime of memories for your family and dear friends to laugh, cherish and to reflect on forever. We will miss you enormously and will miss your brilliant smile and love you always.
Thank you to Mom's siblings, nieces, nephews and dear friends for your visits and continued love and support. The family would also like to thank the outstanding staff at the Grace Hospital and Health Sciences Centre on units GD4, GB2 and the Dialysis Unit. A special thanks to Mom's family doctor, Dr. Therese Racette for her genuine care towards Mom.
In memory of Mom, donations may be made to St. Amant and or the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter.

I would like to extend deepest sympathies to the family of Aunt Eleanor . Quite simply , she was a very nice person. She was a bubbly outgoing person, with a good sense of humour. She was a compassionate person who cared about other people. I have fond memories of her. Gerry & Angie ASSELSTINE - Posted by: Gerry ASSELSTINE (Nephew) on: Nov 13, 2019

Remembering Eleanor from years past when I was one of many who took care of her daughter Cindy. She was such a lovely lady and I have such wonder memories of visits and conversations with her. My deepest sympathies extended to all. Sincerely, Reva - Posted by: Reva Hansen (McNaughton) (Friend) on: Nov 13, 2019
