LUCAS VAN WYK
Lucas leaves to cherish his memory his sons, David and Robert (Michael); daughter Erika; grandchildren, Kirk, Craig, Coralie, Maxim, Aaliyah, Conor and Lily and great-grandchildren, Damian and Zora.
He was predeceased by his wife Jackie; son John; parents, Jannes and Renske and grandson Alexander.
Lucas was known for his immense work ethic. If something needed to be done, he was there to do it, expecting nothing in return. He was an extremely humble, hardworking man, who worked construction into his 70s and likely would have never stopped if it was up to him. He and his character will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Glenwood Community Centre, 27 Overton Street. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
