DONALD GLENN MACKENZIE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don Mackenzie on November 15, 2019, at the age of 69, at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Don is survived by his daughter Adele Mackenzie, mother Del Mackenzie, and mother-in-law Helen Penner; brothers, Dennis (Judy), Darold (Sheri), Duane and sister Diane McDonald (Brian); sister-in-law Lynne Woodsworth (Dick); brother-in-law Les Bachewich (Darlene); and brother-in-law Dan Bachewich; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Don was predeceased by his wife Shirley Mackenzie, and father Dougald.
Don retired from Manitoba Hydro after 42 years of service and filled his retirement days playing golf, hitting the open road with his Sling Shot, spending time at the Eagles Club in St. Norbert, and creating many wonderful memories with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, with reception to follow.
The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at the St. Boniface Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
