Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • So sorry to hear of Alice's passing. Here is a story about Alice. She was a VON coordinator at the Deer Lodge Hospital for many years. This lady was an amazing person. Her professionalism to the patients and her co-workers were 110 percent and more. She cared so deeply for people and patients around her. Her dedication to her VON nurses was exceptional as I saw this in her day to day work. There was nobody like Alice always caring for the well being of others. She was loved by all at Deer Lodge. The patients were always happy to see her as she would see to them getting discharged from hospital and getting VON services arranged for them at home. Alice was just the best. She was a super woman to work with and also the most caring nurse that I have ever come across. I will always remember you Alice. You were wonderful. May u rest in peace. You are an Angel now. - Posted by: Diane (Worked with Alice at Deer Lodge Hospital) on: Dec 10, 2019

  • Dear Gay, so sorry to of the passing of your Mom. She was a such a vibrant lady, lots of energy, a pleasure to spend time with. I got to know her best when she was in Kildonan House when my parents were there. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Take care❤️ - Posted by: Judy McRobbie (Friend) on: Nov 25, 2019

  • I had the pleasure of getting to know Alice when I worked at the block where she lived. While she wasn’t my client Alice and I would often stop and talk. I will always remember Alice as one of the most vibrant, kind ladies that I have ever had the joy of knowing! Alice always made a point of stopping to chat for a bit always asking ‘how are you?’. My deepest sympathies for the family. - Posted by: Kim (HomeCare ) on: Nov 24, 2019
