Condolences & Memories (3 entries)
My name is Guy Trudeau I am the son of Armand & Antonia Trudeau. To the St. Laurent family. I am so sorry for your loss. Ma tante Marie was such a sweet sweet lady. I remember when mon oncle Aurel and ma tante Marie and the kids first moved to Winnipeg. I remember the twins girls Lorraine and Laurette and George specifically. The Trudeau’s (Armand & Antonia) family tried our best to help ease the transition from farm life to city life for the St. Laurent family as best we could. I was very young myself I took to George mostly we were closest in age, all the children were nice people and all very kind I remember. Both our families were quite close. I was always drawn to ma tante Marie, and mon oncle Aurel, but mostly to Marie. I don’t know why but she had an Ora (a presence) about her for me. She was such a beautiful soul so kind and gentle. She reminded me of an Angel I can’t explain why but she did. I remember the loss of mon oncle Aurel it was so sad. I felt deep sorrow for the entire family, we all did. Marie was quite close to my mom Antonia, they got along marvelously. I was always so happy when ma tante Marie would come over for a visit, she was always such a calm peaceful presence. In closing I will say. In my heart of hearts I know that God has truly called on a genuine Angel in ma tante Marie St.Laurent. She was a beautiful, gentle soul. Chere Marie...Rest in Peace dear cousin. Our sympathy to Raymond, Blandine, Charles and Gisele. Our families were so close as we grew up together. We were known as “FREREOS” as we shared parents from the same families. We loved you in life, as we love you now, chere Marie. - Posted by: Ray & Louise Guilbault (Cousin) on: Dec 04, 2019
