MARY (ANNE) TRELEMAN
(nee PRITCHARD)
Anne was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario by the late Dr. John "Jack" and Aileen Pritchard (nee Donaldson). Anne was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years and best friend, Lionel Mervyn "Merv" Treleman, in 2002.
Anne showed her love and loyalty to everyone she met, most especially the animals in her life. She opened her home to all and would think of her family and friends over herself unconditionally. She would generously help anyone for any reason at any time and struggled to understand when others didn't do the same.
Anne will be remembered and sadly missed by her three children, John (Lolita), Janna and Joel (Melanie), grandchildren, Jesse (Vanessa) and Laura, and great-grandchild Nash. Anne is also survived by her brother John Pritchard (Audrey), nephew John Pritchard, and niece Kim Gyug, along with her extended family and friends and the many who called her mom or grandma.
Mom loved music. Especially Frank Sinatra who couldn't have said it any better;
And now, the end is here
And so I've faced my final curtain
My friends, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I've travelled each and every highway
But more, much more than this
I did it my way.
The family wishes to thank the Riverview Health Centre staff for their kind and compassionate care during her final days.
In keeping with Anne's wishes, there will be no formal service and cremation will take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any animal shelter, rescue for animals or Winnipeg Humane Society.

John, (Lolita) We are saddened by the recent passing of your mother Mary. We want you to know that you're in our thoughts and prayers. May you seek comfort in the memories of the time you had together and the faith that she is now at peace with our Lord. We are grateful & privileged to have known & been good friends with Anne for many years. She was a wonderful, selfless friend who was always there to offer a helping hand. We will miss her deeply and her absence will certainly be felt. Losing a loved one, especially one as special as Anne, is always difficult, and we offer our deepest condolences to the Treleman family. - Posted by: Pat & Melissa Burkhart (Friends) on: Dec 08, 2019

My sincere condolences to John, Janna and Joel and all the family at your loss. Anne holds a very important part in my life because through her I was introduced to the P.E.O. Sisterhood in 1975. She was such a kind and generous person. It was an honour to have known her. God Bless You. Joyce - Posted by: Joyce Pachkowsky (Friend & Sister of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter L) on: Dec 08, 2019

Anne answered this phone for me. She was the best....a caring, loving person who always looked and saw the best in everyone and tried to teach that skill of compassion to all of us. She will be missed by everyone she has met. - Posted by: Martha Jo Willard (veterinarian, Villa Vet) on: Dec 08, 2019
