  • Condolences Don on the passing of a truly remarkable lady - Leona and I were roommates in Winnipeg for a few years and our place was usually filled with friends and much laughter as Leona had a natural gift to always see the best in what life had to offer and people automatically were drawn to her...she made friends very quickly and her passing leaves a big void in my life. Then Barry met Leona and yourself and we enjoyed many visits together. We get comfort from knowing that she is finally at peace but our thoughts are forever with her and you Don. As we always said, catch our BIG HUGS we are sending, and much love Betty and Barry Meakins - Posted by: Betty and Barry Meakins (Friends) on: Dec 20, 2019
