August 20, 1924 - December 24, 2019
Alma was predeceased by her husband Oliver, son Ben, and grandson Danny. She is survived by her children, Alex, Flora, Janet, Marie (Dan), David and Yvette (Paul); five grandchildren; and three great-grand-children.
A celebration of Alma's life will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 Des Meurons Street.

Our deepest condolences to everyone, especially our Grandma Marie. She was such a genuinely kind woman with a contagious laugh. I remember a kitchen full of love. Adults gathered around the table, toys scattered everywhere and kids playing in cupboards. So much love in that tiny kitchen. My condolences to the entire family. I remember Mrs. Berthelet as such a strong woman, tiny little thing that worked so hard for her children. It seems as though there was always a Berthelet child to play with in the neighbourhood. And I will always remember her standing at her open door, calling her children in for a meal.
