GWENDOLINE SMITH
Left to cherish Gwen's memory are her six children, Donna (Don), Joan (Neil), Susan, Lyn, George (Irene) and Diane (Rick), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Gwen was predeceased by her husband Donald, her parents, Mary Annie and Richard, her sister Elsie, her brother Ted and sons-in law, John and Tom.
Mom took great pride in her children who meant the world to her and raised a wonderful caring family. She was a very strong woman and even though life was hard sometimes, Mom always was up to the challenge. Everyone was always made to feel welcome in her home.
Now is her time for rest and peace and to be once again with all her loved ones who have passed before her.
Cremation has taken place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring.
