ELLA DOREEN GOWRILUK
(nee HLADY)
Born on the family farm March 18, 1929 to John and Anne (Letwin) Hlady in Thalberg, Manitoba.
She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Gowriluk in 2016.
Her legacy will continue on in her children, Dennis (Belle) Gowriluk of Cochrane, AB; Karen (Rick) Zurba and Jim (Anna) Gowriluk of Victoria, BC.
Proud Baba to grandchildren, Erin Gowriluk (Tim Lazaruk) and their children, Samuel and Severin of Cantley, QC; Evan (Sandy) Gowriluk of Calgary, AB; Breanna Zurba (Channing Tates) and their children, Felix and Olivia Ella Rose; Michael Zurba (Jenna Schellenberg) and their children, Emrick and Ellis; Lewis and Scott Gowriluk of Victoria, BC.
The family would like to thank Mom's caregivers over the past two years at Seine River Retirement Residence, The Rosewood (Alder House) and Misericordia Place for their support, care and compassion shown to her.
A memorial service will be held for Mom in July, 2020. Service details will appear closer to the date.

We remember fond memories at the lake. Good times spent with your parents and the Feursts and Pages. Your Mom made the best perogies and Sam made the best chicken livers. Very sad to hear of Ella's passing. She was a great and gracious lady. A pleasure to be around and important influence in a lot of lives in the small world called Otter Falls. A welcome fixture at the Lake and a pleasure to grow up and grow old with. My sincere condolences to Dennis and Belle on the passing of your Mother. It was almost 50 years ago that Belle was in our wedding party and the years have passed by quickly.
