DESMOND GEORGE CONNOR

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elizabeth, daughter Alison (Rick Veregin), son Richard (Mariyanna) and grandchildren, Lawrence and Lisa Veregin.
Born in London, England, he and his family came to Winnipeg in January 1968. He taught at the School of Medical Rehabilitation, University of Manitoba until he retired in 1994. He had a long and happy life, and in 2019, celebrated both his 90th birthday and 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends.
Cremation has taken place, and a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, 274 Campbell Street.
Our sincere thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses on GA7, Health Sciences Centre who cared for Desmond, and his family, with such compassion during his last few days.

Desmond was a true colleague and friend when we car pooled during my tenure at University of Manitoba from 1989 to 1993. He was a dignified and esteemed teacher.
