  • Zulma was a quiet, gentle soul who brought happiness and genuine care to the residents @ Gimli Betel Home. She was a lovely lady who also happened to be an angelic volunteer to my Mother. Zulma always had a beautiful smile for everyone and my Mom & I loved attending special resident suppers with her as she shared many sweet family memories. Thank you Marcel for always ensuring that Zulma never missed her calling as our dinner hostess with the mostess on even the most unfavorable weather nights. Rest in peace Zulma and thank you for all that you did! - Posted by: Elaine & Ali Ungarian (Acquaintance @ Gimli Betel Home) on: Jan 07, 2020

  • Ian and I are saddened to hear about Zulma's passing. She and Marcel were some of the first people that we met when we moved to Gimli. They welcomed us into the lawn bowling club where we bowled with them and made many happy memories. I'll always remember Zulma saying, when she lost a game - "Well, today it was my turn to make someone else feel good." I use that saying myself now and will continue to do so as I remember sweet Zulma. After the games we would go for coffee and she always had wonderful stories to tell about her younger years. God Bless her and the loving family that she's left behind. - Posted by: Elaine and Ian Thompson (friend) on: Jan 07, 2020
