DOREEN SYLVESTER (BIG DOR)
(nee NELSON)
July 28, 1939 – December 26, 2019

It is with great sorrow, that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Doreen Sylvester, on
December 26, 2019 in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 80 years. She passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Doreen was predeceased by her husband Keith; son Trevor and daughter-in-law
Margaret; parents, Tom and Verna; brothers, Howard and Lloyd, in-laws, Mel and Doris as well as brother-in-law Ivan.
Doreen is survived by her sons, Allan and Craig (Barb), grandchildren, Katlin (Rob), Ryan, Tyler and Samantha, great-granddaughter Elizabeth, brothers, Lenoard, Brian (Lil) and Ralph (Laurreen), sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Florence and brothers-in-laws, Lloyd (Rose) and Barry.
The family would like to thank the doctors and all the staff of 5 North at Grace General Hospital for their support and excellent care. We would also like to thank Dr. Coyle and his staff for the care and genuine kindness
during her illness.
At Doreen's request, there will be no
service.
