FRASER CAMERON
1940 - 2020
Fraser was born on May 1, 1940 and was the only child of Bob and Ina Cameron who predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol, daughters, Erin White (Dan), Janet Parsons (Gord) and Lindsay Bouchard (Mike), son Lawrence Cameron, and five grandchildren, Darius White, Mackenzie White, Uriah Bouchard, Capri Bouchard and Knox Bouchard. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Dianne Buckingham, brother-in-law Gerald Bingham (Annette), and his nieces and nephews.
Fraser had a long career in the Accounting Department at CP Rail and retired in 1995. He also served as a union representative for many years. He was an avid gardener and loved anything to do with plants. He was a member of the Winnipeg Bonsai Society and Manitoba Orchid Society, and served terms as Treasurer and President of the Orchid Society.
The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and healthcare aides on Unit 5E and the Hemodialysis Unit at St. Boniface Hospital for trying so hard to help Fraser. We are very grateful.
Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Cameron, Gerald Bingham, Dan White, Darius White, Gord Parsons and Mike Bouchard.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
Rest in Peace Dad. We love you.

I had the privilege of having Fraser in my life for over 20 years. We spent lots of time with him and his family out at my in-laws cottage. I became very close with all of them and thought of them as family. My heart goes out to all of them. This will be a huge loss for them. - Posted by: Ruth Hardy (Friend) on: Jan 14, 2020
