MICHELE CLAUDETTE MARIE ROY

Peacefully, with family and friends by her side, Michèle passed away at Park Manor on January 8, 2020, at the age of 58 years old.
She is predeceased by her parents, Roland and Claire Roy; as well as her brother Marcel Roy.
Michèle will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her siblings, Maurice (Joni), Evelyne, Roger, Phil (Diane), Lorraine (Peter) and Paul (Jan); as well as her L'Arche family.
Michèle was born May 24, 1961. She graduated from Prince Charles School in 1982, moved to L'Arche Winnipeg and met the Queen in 1984. She travelled to France on Pilgrimage and participated in many Special Olympic events through the years. Michèle was a volunteer at Winnipeg Harvest. These are just a few of her many accomplishments. She lived life to the fullest!
Celebration of Life will be held on January 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons St., Winnipeg, MB. Michèle loved the Jets and Bombers, so dress for her celebration will be casual. Wear Jets or Bombers gear or team colours. If you do not have, wear something blue as it was her favourite colour. Let her party begin!
