ANNE MARIE GOETZ
(nee MAGEL)
December 15, 1936 - January 13, 2020

On January 13, 2020, at home, Anne peacefully passed away. She is now united with her beloved late husband Edward with whom she was happily married for 49 years. He predeceased her January 31, 2009, and Anne loved and missed him dearly.
She is survived by her loving brother John; sisters-in-law Barb, Maxine, Georgina and Alaine (Charles); brother-in-law Arnold (Barbara); as well as extended family and friends with special mention of childhood friends Sophie and dear friend Lorraine.
Predeceased by her father John (1954); mother Anne (2001); and brother Joseph (2007); her grandparents; Myrtle; and many other family members.
Anne was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. Her employment years were in the accounting and statistical field. She was an avid reader, enjoyed musical and drama theatre, but especially enjoyed the adventures travelling with Edward to many parts of the world throughout the years.
Thank you to Dr. Orest Prodan for many years of excellent and compassionate medical care.

My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved ones' touch.
And when that final, sacred moment came
Anne slipped away just beyond our grasp.
And Edward embraced her with open arms,
Welcoming her home at last.

Cremation has taken place and, as per Anne's request, no service will be held. Committal of her ashes will be interred with her beloved husband Edward in the Lasting Tribute Chapel at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
