Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I am saddened to learn of the passing of Fred. Fred did so much for me. From being a customer of mine, to teaching me countless time about woodworking in his garage, to leasing me office space at IVC. A dear friend of my father as well. Many memories of having coffee in the garage stoking the fire place to warm up the place, to having rye n cokes in the kitchen with Ruth, golfing and curling. A gentlemen, loyal friend and kind soul. I'll miss you Fred. From John Steel - Victoria B.C - Posted by: John Steel (Friend) on: May 17, 2020

  • Will not be in Manitoba to attend Celebration but will always appreciate many days spent at IVC reviewing projects to be tendered while enjoying coffee with Fred and John Dwernchuk, in particular. Thanks for the help and kindness. Armand Lafreniere - Posted by: Armand Lafreniere (Friend & Business Acquaintance ) on: Jan 25, 2020

  • We were very sad to hear that Uncle Fred had passed away. We live so close but never seem to find the time to see one another. You, Aunt Ruth and all your family, will be in our thoughts as you celebrate the life that you and Uncle Fred have shared. We are unable to join you next Friday as we are heading south on a long booked holiday this Sunday. Hopefully we will see you sometime soon...once the snow is gone. Much love to you and your family, from Steffi and Leonard. - Posted by: LEONARD + STEFFI RICHTER (NEPHEW AND WIFE) on: Jan 25, 2020

  • We were sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. He will be remembered for his gentle smile and friendly manner. He will be missed when we are golfing at Oakwood.
