PATRICIA ANNA BOHONOS
Pat is survived by Peter, her loving husband of 66 years. She leaves behind her four children, Joan (Reg) Bergmann, Kathy (Gord) Kendall, Donna (Laurry) Lesage and Peter Russell Bohonos (Sherry); as well as her brothers, Robert and Roy (Margaret); sister-in-law Francis; and brother-in-law Walter (Adeline). She also leaves eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and neighbours. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Metro and Kay Kolton; brother Richard; sister-in-law Arlene; brother-in-law Bob; and sister-in-law Evelyn.
Pat was born on July 24, 1938, in Camp Morton, Manitoba. She and Peter lived in the Windsor Park neighborhood in Winnipeg where the children went to school and Pat worked for over 25 years at H&R Block.
Pat spent her retirement years with Peter in Belair, Manitoba. There she was surrounded by nature one of her joys was providing food and care for the birds and other wildlife. She had great knowledge of many varieties of birds and flowers and enjoyed tending the many gardens on their property and raising Monarch butterflies. She also found time in the kitchen to provide wonderful home cooked meals for her children and grandchildren with welcome batches of her perogies and puffed wheat cake.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Selkirk Hospital for their care.
As per her wishes, no formal funeral service is planned. The family is having a private celebration of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's memory to a charity of your choice.

Aunty Pat, you will be sorely missed! You were like a second mom to my brothers and me. Thank you for all the kindness and care, the wonderful food and for sharing your home.. your door was always open. There is another beautiful flower in Heaven’s garden. Much love to my “second family”, and heartfelt sympathies at this time. Hugs! Jude - Posted by: Jude Hannah (Neighbour) on: Jan 29, 2020
