JOAN MARIE TRENHOLM

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on January 29, 2020. Joan Marie Trenholm (nee Snider) of Winnipeg, MB formerly of Owen Sound, ON, passed away at the age of 88 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Ian Stewart Trenholm (2007). Loving mother of Jill Marie Baird of Winnipeg (husband Laurie) and Carol Elizabeth Graham-Mullin (husband Patrick Mullin) of Owen Sound, ON. Proud grandmother of Todd and Katie Graham of Owen Sound and Lucas, Creighton and Savannah Baird of Winnipeg. Great-grandmother of Brody Graham and Hayden Graham. Half sister Sue Woessner (Snider) of Port Washington, WI.
Predeceased by her parents, Russell and Grace Snider (nee Clarke) and step mom Edna Snider (nee Malcolm).
A public Celebration of Life will be held at Shaftesbury Park Retirement Residence at 905 Shaftesbury Blvd., Winnipeg, in the chapel on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.
Joan and Ian raised their daughters in Kitchener and Owen Sound, ON and retired to Winnipeg in 1994, to spend quality time with Jill and Laurie and their three grandchildren.
Special thanks to the compassionate doctors and nurses on 5 South at Victoria Hospital. Joan was lovingly cared for at her bedside for her final three weeks by Letty, Leony and Marieann. After her husband Ian passed away in 2007, Joan spent 13 comfortable years at the Shaftesbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
