Jean was born in Hamilton, Scotland in 1932. She and her husband, Fred immigrated to Canada in 1957. She was an avid golfer and curler and became a longtime devoted member of the Wildwood Club.

  • Fred & family, Our condolences to the Loudon family. Jean was a presence on the golf course at Wildewood & a great friend to many. She always had a smile and a friendly greeting when I would see her. She made us feel welcome as new members in 1997 & we enjoyed playing a few of the mixed events with Jean & Fred. So sorry for your loss. Tammie & Greg Dueck - Posted by: Tammie DUECK (Friend) on: Feb 04, 2020

  • Fred, Nan and I are saddened you hear of Jean's passing. She was a wonderful person and Nan and I both loved her. We have been gone from Canada for a number of years but fondly remember your and Jean from Western Canada. We are both retired and live on Cape Cod in the summer and Stuart, Fl in the winter. We have not been back to Canada in years but still have fond memories of the Peg. We did belong to the Wildwood Club when we lived in Winnipeg and throughly enjoyed it. We will fondly remember Jean and your children. Please accept our condolences. Larry and Nan - Posted by: Larry & Nan Brophy (Old Friends) on: Feb 03, 2020

  • I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Jean. I hold fond memories of her when I worked at Scotiabank on Pembina Hwy in the early 1990’s. She was a client that soon became one of my favourites. We talked golf and I loved hearing of all her adventures. Rest In Peace Jean, I think of you often. - Posted by: Kathy White (Acquaintance ) on: Feb 03, 2020
