I got to know Barry when he worked at Lockport Grocery while I worked the A&W next door about 23 years ago. During breaks I’d sometimes go to the store for snacks or they’d phone in a takeout order and I’d deliver it. He always greeted me with a warm smile and a chuckle. I always stayed for a few minutes of chat. Such a great guy! Our relationship was nothing more than that but over than 20 years later those moments I still remember fondly. It doesn’t take much to be friendly to others but it sure can leave an impression on others. That is a lesson I learned from Barry. My condolences to Barry’s family on their loss. - Posted by: Luke (Satisfied customer) on: Jul 25, 2023

Barry and his wife Eva were our neighbours for a few years now and both of them were so good to our daughter Adrianna. Barry was a great man and we will miss his smile and warmth around here. Sending all our love and prayers to Eva and her family. Love Kali Doug and Adrianna❤️ - Posted by: Kali Doug and Adrianna (Friend neighbour) on: Feb 04, 2020

My condolences to the whole family. I met Gary when I was living in East Selkirk. He was always friendly and very active. He also had a very lovely family. If there is a grocery store in heaven, I am sure he is already getting things in order. - Posted by: Sharon Smith (Acquantance) on: Feb 04, 2020
