LEYTA ELIZABETH RYAN
(nee MINOGUE)
March 9, 1931 - February 1, 2020

Leyta's Spirit left us after a sudden illness in the early hours of February 1, with her daughter by her side.
She will be forever remembered and missed by her son Patrick, daughter Denise Swart (Edward), her grandchildren, Matthew and Hollie Swart (Allan Bieber); her sisters, Joyce McDonald, Lorraine Mitchell, Pearl Sherman; and her many nieces and nephews and their children.
Leyta spent her life caring for her family and the staff, patients, and residents under her charge at the Misericordia Hospital and later at Bethania Personal Care Home.
Throughout her life she formed strong bonds of friendship with people of all ages. She touched so many lives and will be missed by so many. RIP Mom, we know you are with us.
The celebration and remembrance of Leyta's life will be held on Monday, February 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Boulevard, with Reverend Kelly Wilson presiding.
The family would like to thank the staff on 3N at the Grace Hospital and especially her nurses, Braden and Wendy for the special care and comfort you gave to our mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Our Place Chez Nous Drop-In Centre, the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to a charity of your choice.
