PETER (PIETRO) MIELE
June 21, 1949 - February 14, 2020

With great sorrow we announce the passing of Peter (Pietro) Miele on February 14, 2020, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, surrounded by his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Frances; his children, Nietta (Rob), Bato (Tara) and Bernardo (Luisa); his grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, Tianna, Giuliana, Elyssa and Giordano. He is also survived by his brother Ferdinando (Carmela and family), and his sister Maria (Sandro and family).
Peter was predeceased by his parents, Antonietta and Barbato Miele.
Peter's greatest joy was spending time with his six grandchildren, gardening, family camping trips, tinkering with satellite dishes, antique shopping, and our recent family trip to Disney World.
As per Peter's wishes, cremation has taken place and Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Family will receive condolences starting at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment and a reception will follow at Holy Angel Mausoleum, at Green Acres Cemetery located on Highway #1 East at Navin Road.
