Marianna was born in Soriano, Italy, on February 10, 1932. At a very young age Marianna, with her parents and siblings, moved to Amato. In 1951 Mom married the love of her life, Francesco. They were blessed with five children. Mom was a strong pillar that cared and watched us through hardship of daily life, especially when our dad had to work out of town. Mom was strong, patient, kind and her legacy will always live in our hearts.
In 1969 we all came to Winnipeg, Canada to start a new life. Mom worked at a textile company until she retired at age 60. Mom and Dad liked to travel (Italy, Cuba, Mexico). Mom liked going for walks, gardening, and picnics with her children.
Special thanks to the staff of Pembina Place Personal Care Home for the care and comfort throughout her stay.
Mom we will always love you and cherish your memory forever in our hearts. We love you, rest in peace, until we meet again.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Condolences at 10:00 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Rosary Parish Church with Rev. Father Sam Argenziano as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Felicia, Marianna, Joseph, Franco, Ildana, Sabrina and Kayla.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
