ELSIE IRENE PETRIEW
(nee MCRAE)
She was born on January 18, 1922 in Parkman, Saskatchewan.
She was predeceased by her parents, Christopher and Myrtle McRae; four sisters; two brothers; her son Brian Prystenski; and son-in-law Bill Larner; and her husbands, Bill Prystenski, Cecil Norris and Michael Petriew.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Roberta Greenfield; son Bob (Bev) Prystenski; and daughter Donalda Larner; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
As hard as it is to have lost Mom, we know she is now at peace, and lovingly welcomed home to all her friends and family who have gone before her.
As per mom's wishes, a private family celebration has been held, with interment to be held at a later date.
Thank you to all who were a part of mom's life, with a special thank you to the staff at Vista Park Manor for their kindness and affection to mom.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

Thinking of your family. I am from the Ontario McRaes through Christopher's sister Janet ( married name Paton). Know your family are in our thoughts - Posted by: Barbara McMaster (Cousin) on: Nov 10, 2020

Mrs Petriew was a delight to care for. Never complaining, quiet, unassuming, rarely made a fuss like her sister Mrs. J.D.. When she felt well, she would happily flit about in her “wheels” everywhere in the home trying to make friends with her co-residents. She always had a ready smile for anybody but she was also well-equipped with funny comebacks that always made me chuckle. Your “little brat” will miss you. Rest in peace, Miss Elsie. - Posted by: vpl girl (carer) on: Mar 01, 2020

Dear Cousins: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always remember the good times spent at your house. I will always remember how kind and sweet aunt was. She had such a cute laugh. Love to you all. Kathie & Leonard Wiebe nee: Prystenski - Posted by: Kathie Wiebe (Niece) on: Feb 26, 2020
