LILY PEARL SEXTON
(nee WARNUK)
Lily was predeceased by her parents, Adam and Jessie Warnuk, husband Frederick (Freddy) Sexton, and sister Eva Van Essen.
Lily will be lovingly remembered and cherished by daughter Heather Armstrong, sisters, Margie Glennie and Bernice McKay.
Lily worked at the Salisbury House for several years and 20 years at Safeway, retiring in December of 1985. She was a hard working woman who Heather was so proud of! Lily loved remodelling her homes and was so talented. She also enjoyed gardening and was exceptional at it.
Lily loved her Blue Bombers, which her daughter inherited from her and her precious Dad. She travelled to Europe and many wonderful places which her daughter shared with her.
Thanks to the Simkin Centre for the loving care that was given to my mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

Auntie Lily was a wonderful and caring women I often wished her to be my grandmother as she was so kindhearted. I loved when she visited Toronto and the couple times I came to Winnipeg. Her gardens were absolutely STUNNING and could have been featured in a magazine. She will be missed by all that knew her. Thinking of you at this very difficult time Heather. - Posted by: Angela Pringle (Great niece ) on: Feb 29, 2020

We are sorry for your loss, Heather. Vlado met your mother, and commented what a nice lady she was, and a pleasure to talk to. You told us many good stories about her over the years when we communicated. You'll miss her a lot. Take care - Posted by: Vlado & Helen Vidovic ( aquaintance ) on: Feb 29, 2020
